An apartment complex manager(who also happens to own the property, but he doesn’t like to let people know that) rents to mother and her daughter who have been living in their car for a few weeks. She’s also getting very interested in Female Body Building which is a big thing in the media back then, especially in southern CA, where these stories are set.
